We modelled this part from scratch from the customer’s sample. The model stays with us, so a copy can be printed at any time – without the modelling stage, which makes it faster and cheaper than a new job. If needed, we adapt the dimensions or the material.

The problem / original part

The button had play, which threw the laser out of focus.

How we did it

  1. CAD / reverse engineering

    Holes for the table on a 25 mm grid and triangle marks showing where to trim the button for the radar icon.

What we changed and improved

The button sits much more steadily.
