Terms and conditions

1. About us and these terms
The website modelein3d.com is operated by Modelein3D, Chișinău, Republica Moldova (“Modelein3D”, “we”). We provide made-to-order 3D scanning, 3D modelling and 3D printing services, and make the printed products shown in the catalog.
By sending a request or an order on the site you confirm that you have read and accept these terms and the Privacy policy.
2. How an order is made
A request or order sent on the site does not yet bind either side – no contract is signed. Once we receive it, we contact you to agree the details, price, production time and delivery method. The order is accepted when you confirm these terms (by phone, message or e-mail); that confirmation is our agreement.
We may refuse an order that cannot be made technically or that conflicts with these terms or the law.
3. Models, files and intellectual property
We make objects at the customer’s request, from the files, photos, sketches, samples or descriptions the customer provides.
- By sending a file, image, logo or sample, you confirm that you own the rights to it or have the right holder’s permission to reproduce it, and that its use does not infringe copyright, trademarks or other rights of third parties.
- The customer is fully responsible for the content of the materials provided and indemnifies us against any third-party claims related to them.
- We do not sell licensed merchandise and do not claim to own characters, trademarks or designs belonging to others. We may refuse an order that clearly reproduces a protected character, trademark or design without the right holder’s consent.
- We use the files we receive only to fulfil your order; we do not publish them or share them with others.
- 3D models created by us remain our intellectual property unless we have explicitly agreed otherwise. With an order you receive the physical object, not the right to copy or distribute the model.
- For some projects we can provide, on request, the model file (STL / STEP). The file is provided for personal use only – for example, to print a spare part for yourself; reselling, publishing or sharing it with others is not allowed without our explicit consent.
- We may publish photos of finished objects (without your personal data) as examples of our work. If you do not want this, tell us when you order.
All trademarks and names mentioned on the site belong to their owners and are used only to describe compatibility of parts (for example, “holder for a particular car model”).
4. Prices and payment
The price of each job is set individually – depending on size, material, complexity and quantity – and is communicated to you before the order is confirmed. Delivery is charged separately.
Payment is made after confirmation: by transfer to a card, in cash at pickup or when you receive the parcel. For complex jobs or batches we may ask for an advance payment and will tell you in advance.
5. Lead times and delivery
Production time depends on the model’s complexity and our current workload and is given when we confirm the order. Lead times are estimates; if there is a delay, we let you know.
You can collect the order in person in Chișinău or we ship it via Nova Post within Moldova and abroad (or with another international service). Details are on the Delivery page. For deliveries outside Moldova, any customs duties and import VAT are paid by the recipient.
6. Characteristics of 3D-printed products
3D-printed objects may show fine layer lines, small support marks and dimensional tolerances of tenths of a millimetre; this is normal for the technology and is not a defect. Colour shades may differ slightly from what you see on screen.
For functional parts (spare or mounting parts), the customer confirms that the dimensions and chosen material suit the intended use. We do not make parts for safety-critical systems (brakes, steering, medical, protective or lifting equipment).
7. Returns and complaints
Most of our products are made to order to the customer’s specifications (dimensions, colour, text, model). Under the law on distance selling, the right of withdrawal does not apply to such personalised goods.
If a product has a manufacturing defect or does not match what was agreed, write to us within 14 days of receipt, with photos. We will remake it, fix it or refund the non-conforming part. Transport damage must be reported when you receive the parcel, in the presence of the courier or at the branch.
8. Liability
Our liability for an order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for damage resulting from use of the product for a purpose other than agreed, improper installation or incorrect information supplied by the customer (dimensions, files, samples).
These limitations do not affect your rights under consumer protection law.
9. Final provisions
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Moldova. We first try to settle any disagreement amicably; if that is not possible, the dispute is resolved by the competent courts of the Republic of Moldova.
We may update these terms; an order is governed by the version in force on the date it is confirmed. Contact: contact@modelein3d.com.
